Status Updates From As Sete Maravilhas - O Desp...

They were protecting energy that was stored in a loculus like a light bulb. Each one had powers there were seven. One to fly, the second to become invisible, and more. Suddenly the background music that was playing was making things happen the bones of a giant skeleton began to move reforming in the air. It began to gross sharp teeth. It was a reptilian giant with scales all along its body. This was scary.

This is a transition chapter it seems to slow its like they are getting ready for something and there is a bit of world building when they start talking about Qalani. Its like a goddess of Atlantis and she was part of other rulers King Uhla'ar the Queen herself Qalani and her sons Karai and Massarym.

They are finally found from capsizing in their boat. Turns out Marco was claiming to have organized the escape from the institute. The said that it was very dangerous that this happened because of what happened to Aly she almost died because of the sickness in her and not from drowning. They were really hard on them considering that they needed to get these powers first as they were in competition with others.

Its time to leave they get into the boat not wanting to because its night about this time and the other whales or something could be in the ocean maybe a shark that could get them but this was their only chance at survival. The waves were getting harder to navigate its not until the end of the chapter that they flip over and fall into the ocean.

100 pages in that was quick. Now they are planning to get away from this beach it wasnt until Cass was freaking out thinking he was being attacked by a dead carcass of a whale. Marco was getting him out of the mess and they suddenly find a boat but it has no motor its a paddle boat they realize its their only hope of escaping this island...

Wow they finally get away from the building smashing cameras and running away through the jungle it gets dark by the time they get through it but they are finally glad to be free in the distance they see the moon shining off of something they were on a beach. The moon was shining off of the body of water. They were excited and cheering with joy until they hear Cass yell out "GET THIS THING OFF ME!!!!!!!!"

They were now ready to escape they made it so the security cameras were not seeing what was really going on that they set them on a loop for an hour from the earlier hours when nobody was around. Now they had to get out of there without being seen. They had wanted to escape before but they couldn't figure out the cameras and all the recording devices how they were going to go about escaping now they knew.

This book just keeps getting better this is an adventure of escape turns out the rest of the kids couldn't tell Jack what was really going on before because inside the institute they had recording devices so they had to act like they liked being there and that they thought like Jack before as well but when Marco came for Jack they all met together and told him the truth why they couldn't say anything at the time.

He took it to the bathroom and figured it out he was going go help him him escape he only had to go to his room at 3am and he would help him get out of there. He quickly got the napkin and flushed it down the toilet so no one knew what he saw or knew. He was about to escape this place. Jack thought for sure Marco was one of them and that he had been brainwashed as well but no this was his chance to get out of there.

Wow they had a big dinner for him and a big sign welcoming him home to the institute and he didn't care at all he just wanted to leave. He didn't like it here. He noticed a napkin on his seat with a pen and asked if it was anyone's and he turns it over and there is a code on the back of the napkin. This leads him to an incripted message from Marco...

The other kids are trying to convince Jack that he is in the right place right now after all being rescued from the jungle where he could have died or be left for dead. That he had Atlantian blood somehow and that he was like an experiment that there was not many out there like him. This was still confusing to him why he was even in the institute he wanted to leave.

He and these kids are descendants of Atlantis and unless he finds the elements of power and bring them together and bring them back to Atlantis now thats cool. I didn't see that coming.

Wow the information that was just given to Javk of why he is here at the institute these people want to study him and the other 3 kids there have the same sign on the back of their heads. This thing he has only peaks at a certain age he is right now. A little while after that they die unless as he was just told he needs to find the power of Atlantis that was broken up and placed all over the world and he will live.

Finally getting somewhere the man in the helicopter kidnapped Jack took him to an institute where they needed him apparently because they had done dome sort of treatment on him and they were not done that it needed to be completed or he would definitely die of what he had. They had him captured and he wanted out as soon as he could he didn't know where he was or why he was there. It was then that he bolted to leave.

Wow Jack is finally getting through the jungle and unexpectedly is greeted by a monkey who is trying to help him. He had a set of keys he dropped for Jack to see and had him follow him through the jungle to a helicopter he was about to get help. He found the man who the keys belonged to inside and the man was angry that he was going to take the monkey out next time he said.

This chapter was very confusing is he in some kind of hospital or a different place altogether this doesn't seem like he's in a real hospital being taken care of weird things are happening to him he wants to get ahold of his dad he doesn't know whats going on. Looks like he's about to get out of it. It seems like this place was near a jungle. He needs to leave now.

A very short chapter of Jack witnessing the creature that he hasnt yet seen. He has his weapon handly and can't tell if he is dead he feels talons in the back of his head from a winged creature.

I didn't think I would be flying through another chapter but I did. Jack really had no idea what happened when he woke up in the hospital all turned around wondering where he was and what they were doing to him. He was mentioning that they heard they were giving him last rites and he said what like when its the end of your life he was still young and still alive nearly being taken out by the car. What happened?

Jack is one brave kid going up against a bully in school and has the nerve to try to fight him and he's asking for his homework so he can copy it. He tells the bully to apologize after trying to bully another kid but he finds that to be something he shouldn't even care to do. That's when he comes in contact with a grille of a Toyota speeding towards his face.

The beginning not too much happens we are introduced to Javk from the previous prequel. He seems younger in this beginning part of the story he seems to have a good relationship with his dad and is taken care of by a babysitter that is no longer there as he thought as he got off the video call with his dad. This is when he said he was coming home Something wasnt right he thought.

After so many years of having this book on my shelf I'm finally reading it. I read the prequel and couldn't get enough so finally getting into the series.
