So I know no one asked for my opinion, but... GIVING REAL-WORLD ITEMS DUMB SELF-EXPLANATORY NAMES IS NOT WORLDBUILDING. They're not grazers. They're COWS. Not bitter bean drink. COFFEE. Not back-bag. KNAPSACK, SATCHEL, even BACKPACK. Brooooo it hurts. And also, a medieval peasant is not going to care about the last time her greasy hair had a "proper washing." Okay, I'm done now😂

I don't like. It's... cliche. I do like the narrator - she has life to her and is anything but monotone - but so far this story is meh. Will I finish it? DUH. The audiobook is only 6hrs long and I am behind on my reading challenge😅

I'm not sure I want this to end. I can tell when I finish it I won't be like "OMG I NEED #2" but it will also be hard to start a different book... Sometimes 4 stars are harder on me than 5s

Oh my goodness! She lied to her best friend that she'd marry him realising he was dying. Now she finds out he's not dying and she's panicking that she accidentally accepted his proposal! 🤣

Dude! I don't understand why books do this! I wasn't a fan of Brac(the friend in this book) but why do authors ruin childhood friendships because of love triangles . I hate triangles especially if it ruins the protagonists friendship with her childhood best friend.
