While i did predict somewhat of what happened, it didn't ruin the story for me. its still cute and fun and even though something is expected it doesn't mean its bad. i've got the epilogue left.

the opening of this book is dry. it is literally a history lesson with names and places. i zone out for a lot of it. i got the gist. but to start the book out that way nearly made me walk away. it has gotten better, but not smart to start there.

The first chapter was a lot of history before the “real” story started.
