Ace was introducing a new player to the game when Daekins appears next to him. He starts telling Ace he knows who killed him but, doesn't say the culprit's name. Daekins told Ace he'll allow Ace to kill him. With frustration and fear John kills Daekins and the glyph disappears from his palm.

Ace beforehand activates his amulet creating a powerful forcefield around him and Prof. D. During their battle and despite guildmaster's sue of John's invisibility cloak, he kills him. Ace picks up the sword and starts announcing his position as a new guildmaster and his changes that the guild happily agreed to.

Deane, Gade, and John discuss their plans to kill the guildmaster. And proceeded to wait till the guild's planned Friday raid, and follows them to the Daemons temple. The group realizes that the guildmaster is taming the Daemon, of which, John rushes pass his group and kills the Daemon before being tamed and healed. The guild thunderstruck by Ace's sudden appearance and quickly try to kill him.

John finds a giant room with Thal residing in his seat. After a bit of a dialogue John gets Thal's second sword and his blessing. And the mission to retrieve Thal's Sword of Eternity. To kill Professor D.

After a few days of traveling to the mountain with a huge lake in front, he finds it and starts looking for the entrance. Once nighttime reached shortly after he found a giant rock that caught his attention. John comes up and sees a keyhole. He proceeding opens the door with the key given to him at the ominous tower and enters the heated hallway.

After talking to the wisps he acquires a key, that would lead him to a god that could help with his endeavor.
While reading this it seems John is on the wrong path.

After a bit of discussion and realizing Deane nore Gade are suspects of the betrayal he realizes the guildmasters interest in alchemy and
the sword he lost and assumes whim the prime suspect. John also realized if he wants to kill him and rule the powerful guild he'll need extreme help. As so, he goes to the thin scary spiraling tower, only those who deem themselves worthy can enter.

John grinds and quickly levels thanks to the one legendary item bound to him, an amulet. While killing some monsters he
gets himself in a pickle and meets Deane and Gade, who helped him defeat the creatures before nearly dying, saved by the amulet.

John realizes that he could actually die after ten days. After this revelation, he prepares himself to fully immerse himself in the game and says goodbye to his family. The family are under the assumption that he found more work
and will be gone for a bit.

John hears him out and denies to pay his debt by killing the gamemaster (the one who introduced himself to him). The old man lunges to John and he pushes back, he notices the glyph on his arm and is informed that he has to do what the old man told him or else in John will die after 10 days. With disbelief, John escapes with him, seemingly disappeared after escaping.

Ready to give up John hears a shrilling voice and realizes it's the same crazy old man, who gave him the invisibility cloak. The old man gives him a piece of thin material to pick the locks with the promise to help him out. They both stand there as the old man asks John to pay his debt now for taking the cloak.

He talks for a bit and starts feeling unwell, and drops unconscious and dies. He rushes back as a ghost and gets revived (seems like another person also died with him?). He tries to back to his corpse but, is taken prisoner for supposedly 'conspiracy" and treason.

Later on, Cevice (the priest) informs him of the celebration party and him being the honored guest. After donning on something nice John is surprised to see Deane there ready to go in. They both go in and she introduces him to alcohol. Afterward, he is called on stage.

John goes to a 200 strong raid party with the Black Knights to defeat
the first-ever Daemon. The party nearly dies, save for, John's legendary items from Thal, one of the gods. After being the first player to kill a Daemon, he meets the Guildmaster of the Black Knights, Professor D. After John eludes Prof. D of happened, despite revealing Thal's legendary sword, is rewarded as a commander..

John afterward sneaks inside the guild's building and into its bank. Finding the map he nearly escapes before being caught by a Ranger. He logs out in the INN.

John, out of desperation, bought a new VRMMORPG with real money exchange-ment in hopes of helping his family. With the intent to go all in, John decided to go after one of the most powerful guilds. Attaining a valuable and illicit item, an Invisibility cloak,and finding temporary help arriving at the guild. John enters and deceives a priest and leads him to the guilds bank where John finds a valuable map to get later
