I am finishing this book by force of will alone and i feel like I will never reach the end.

Did I imagine that this was supposed to be paranormal? Because so far, there has been essentially nothing supernatural. Just an asshole main character that I really want to DNF the book to avoid.

WTF?! He's more upset over broken bottles of wine than he is over destroyed "priceless" family heirlooms?!

"Mum".... hmmmm.... Though this takes place in America apparently Emery isn't American. Unless this is another one of those books that use non-American grammar and vocabulary despite the characters being Americans.

Emery is a dick. I hate the main character. And there are like... no ghosts involved here.

I really thought there would be more ghostly elements to the book :/ kinda letdown, but it is an okay book overall.

Hmmm not what I was expecting. And he isn’t a like able character but I’m still somewhat interested....
