I still can’t get over the opening and reading reviews, this is not promising. Not sure I want to keep going. What a waste and why the heck is this nothing like the blurb?

I wonder if Lee Child was smoking that poppy he talks about in the beginning of the book because what in the world does that have anything to do with heroes or the title of the book. The opening bears zero resemblance to the blurb and is hugely disappointing.

Good grief. What am I even listening to and what the heck is all this about the poppy seed and morphine? I had to check reviews to see if I was accidentally listening to the wrong book.
