If you turn right from 5th ave to park on the south side of the central library, you do not have to turn your car around to go downhill when you leave. Not trying to be nit-picky, but when you know the city like the back of your hand, these "huh?" moments really pull you out of the story.

It is not getting better. The author is making homonym mistakes (peaked when it should have been peeked, kneed when it should have been knead), and the "somethin'-somethin'" phrase has come up again to reference sex.

6% in and our main character mentions getting a little "somethin'-somethin'." and puts it in italics. Between that, and a few instances of "you keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means," and the only reason I'm sticking with it is it takes place in Seattle and it was free.
