Status Updates From On the Court with...LeBron ...

(SUMMARY) Lebron James is a basketball star born in Akron Ohio on December 30th 1984. Lebron had a harsh upbringing with his mother struggling to make ends meet and an absent father for his whole life. Lebron had two brothers and a grandmother who kept the family connected. After she tragically died the family fell apart, forcing the James to rely on friends for a place to stay.

Static vs. Dynamic: Lebron is a dynamic character because he changes what team he goes to and how he reacts to losing and winning. He starts to mature more and not get angry when he loses. His mother Gloria because she will always believe in her son and have determanation and that would not change so she is a static character.

CONFLICT: The Conflict that is happening in the story is character v society. This is because Lebron James left Cleveland and left all the fans angry and mad at him because he said he would never leave Cleveland and he did. When he went to play them for the first time fans were burning his jersey and booing him and not praising what he did for the team.

PREDICTION: Lebron James might leave Cleveland for the first time since he has been drafted. " With the seasons end, Lebron James became a free agent. That meant that he could sign with whatever team offered him the best opportunity for future success" Pg 122. I think if he won one title with Cleveland he would renew his contract but now he might go to a team where he has a chance to win the championship.

POINT OF VIEW: This is 3rd person Omncisient. The Narrator knows the thoughts about everyone. He describes the feelings of Lebron more detailed but still talks about the feelings of the other people that come into the biography. The Narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of his family members and his coach.

PROTAGONIST: The protagonist and main character is Lebron James. He is one of the best basketball players of all time. They show how he growed up through the struggles and how the journey to the NBA was. He teaches children and others that never giving up and being confident in your self is the best. He is very tall and athletic.

There are many settings in this book. At the moment I am where he is the best player in his city and about to be drafted. The setting right now is Akron Ohio, Where LeBron Grew Up.

GENRE: This book is Non Fiction/ biography. This is about how Lebron James grew up and lived with him family and what struggles he went through, also how hard he worked to get to the NBA.

Protagonist: The appearance is that he is going to not that poor and rich into the NBA. The feeling getting drafted is crazy for Lebron because he has put in this hard work and his mother took time away from her life and helped Lebron getting him game to game.

Antagonist: The author tells about Lebron James life and how he got to the NBA . The author put a timeline of Lebron James stuff in the back of the book. The author needs to add the stuff he broke in the 10 years. Like Lebron James broke the All Time Leading Scorer. Lebron now has more then 50,000 points. The 2nd place all time score was Kareem Abdul Jabber ( Lakers and Bucks Center.)

Visualize: It tells about LeBron James when he was young to where he is right now. When I read my book I feel like I can see what LeBron is doing and I understand what he is going through and see his time line.I always remember when LeBron was drafted that's is crazy cause LeBron comes through a hard life and challenges through his childhood. Another scene is when he broke a lot of records in the NBA.

Summary- Lebron's dad left him & Lebron was alone with his mom. Lebron played basketball and was surprisingly really good. He went to the NBA and won 4 NBA championship rings. Lebron was the youngest to score 10,000 points, 30,000 points later he passed Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Lebron was the all-time leading scorer in the NBA. He was considered the GOAT by a lot of people and some people thought Jordan was the goat.

summary- Lebron James dad left him and his mom and him were on his own and he started playing basketball but he played football first, he played high school ball and was really good so he moved on to college next thing you know he is in the NBA. He was going crazy. He was the youngest NBA player to score 10,000 points, then 30,000 points later he passed the all time leading scorer. He has 4 rings and still plays.

There was an added on part to the book

There was a supporting character in the book that played a huge part in Lebron's championship in Cleveland and his name is Kyrie Irving. Irving hit a game winner in the final 30 seconds of game 7 of the finals to secure the win and give Lebron and Cleveland their championship they've been waiting for, for the last 50 years.

Types of conflict: There were many types of conflict in the book but one that stood out to me the most was Lebron's return to Cleveland after signing with the Miami Heat. People hated him for leaving the team so they booed him and said stuff to him. He responded with 36 point triple double to give the Heat the win
