One thing I really appreciated that we don't see enough in romance novels is characters acknowledging that they've only know one another for a very short period of time (days). In this case though both though out the book internally reflected on this and their feelings and made sure their feelings were true and not b/c of the situation. They also discussed w/ each other at the end.

Bill has creeped me out from his introduction. He better be up to something for sure.
I love that Liza was the quirky dog lady and there was a bit of uniqueness brought back to the female character again. It was great to get back to this series after a break. Loved the dogs but would have liked a bit more personality from them.

I'm not getting how he thinks she lied, especially not directly to him. He only met her 4 days ago and he was suppose to stay away from her. He also admitted to himself he loves(?) her already(?). (And her him) I can get him being upset at the situation but I don't buy it that he feels she lied. She has amnesia, that's not lying.
