This book is really tripping me up on who the audience is supposed to be...

Well I was all thinking this was a YA novel, what with the voice and the age of the characters, but then there are a bunch of very explicit sex scenes. Not that that's necessarily inappropriate for teens, but it's certainly not what you find in your everyday YA.
