I just started and I'm already loving the structure of this story. How well is linked each chapter by the list of things Tommy wants to buy or do in order to help the dumpster guy out.

Like the idea but reads unbelievable, simplistic, and even saccharine. Dialogue was just OTT Jesus goodness. Not that it needs to be angst and grit all the time, but this was repellingly benevolent.
