Status Updates From Save the Cat: The Last Book...

This is becoming very narrow minded and annoying.

I’m not rating this because I don’t know how useful it is to writers, but since I’ve read this I’ve noticed the hidden structures behind movies. For eg, I realized there was a literal STC moment in Act One of the Odyssey on rewatch, because I learned about it from here. Now watching movies is like figuring a puzzle it’s more fun :) I’m thinking of reading the novel one so I can analyze books better too.

Well, the structure section is his high horse, huh? Also, he's really just brushing over the one exception and saying "screw them!" for no reason?? Oh boy, this is gonna be a longer read than I thought....

Ok so like I don’t love that it always seems like he’s only talking about movies w/ male protagonists (sorry maybe I’m too woke) and like that it’s all about selling but I do appreciate the honesty.
