I’m reading it but for the love of God, hire an EDITOR
People will quit this book just based on the first chapter.
Storyline is good so far but it’s obvious no one who cared looked aver this book.

Finished. Review to come.

Oh nooooooo.

I feel like I'm watching a teen drama where events are going from bad to worse. Like I'm mildly entertained, mildly annoyed, but I'm also looking at this and shaking my head.

I have no idea what's going to happen and I have no idea what my rating of this book is going to be, lol.

Over halfway - this point I feel bad for Presley because of her strained relationship with her mom. Having to uproot your whole family and move as a teenager being caught between divorced parents sucks. I don't know the experience personally, but I know many a person who has had this situation happen.

One other thing is that I'll say this book reads fast, but it's very surface level conflicts. Still reading.

I feel like I've been teleported in a time machine reading this book for New Adult romance (yes, confirming this is NA). Toxic love interest? Check. Continuous girl-girl hate and slut shaming (alongside body/weight shaming)? Check. FMC who occasionally has pointed one liners doing the things that she knows she should not be doing? Check.

Still reading, I should finish this soon.

I spoke too soon, So Trevor, the resident bad boy, saves our girl from getting harassed by a guy, and then turns around and starts harassing her.

So when she says "What is it with every guy in this school thinking they're entitled to shit?" I felt that line. But I'm not into the prospect of her casually punching other girls and guys alike.

Like I said, rough read. But still reading.

"Not interested in Derek," I say, refusing to look at her.
"Not what I heard."
"Then fix your ears."

Okay, I snort laughed. Presley is not here for anyone trying to loop her into a relationship she doesn't want and I'm kinda here for it. I can't tell if this is YA or NA, but it feels more like NA for the language and thematic. It's typical, but I'm reading through it. Still reading.

Picked up a few "bully romances" on KU that I've been combing through and this is the second one that I picked up - I'm a sucker for beach set stories. (Don't ask me about my reading order. Just trying to finish what's on my plate and not book hop.) I can already tell this one, while I'm flying through it, will be a bit rough. But I'm going for it. Still reading.
