It's been fun learning about how people sleep and arranging who they sleep closely with. People switch depending on what happened during the day, if they got into fights or had a good one. I finally reach the point when food and travelling to other camps!! Food is finally mentioned but glossed over.

Just the first few pages in the introduction, it's already five stars for me for several reasons: easy writing (not academic-lese), precisely hits on the strength and point of doing anthropology (I'm looking at all the artificial decolonial bs floating around), heavy and clear on the central cultural concept of kinship on the Walpiri, clear on the book outline and making sense of the multitude of stories that follows
