Status Updates From Ghostland: In Search of a H...

I'm struggling to find a reason to finish. This books seems to be little more than a list of recollections of other works that contains very little insight or analysis beyond "it is good" or "I found it scary." If the writer has little to say about these works or the craft of writing, besides a few biographical details easily found on Wikipedia, I don't see the point. Its like reading a haunted walking tour.
