Nooooo. Who are the people who enjoy books where absolutely nothing good happens for the female protagonist? I'm 75% through and it's one long torture slog. wtf? At least in the first book, there was some reason to have a little optimism (for the first 75%, although now that I think back, perhaps that was a figment of my imagination).
