Very rushed ending leaving several things up in the air. Hopefully they will be answered as the series continues.

There are a few issues with phrasing and sentence structure. I don’t remember encountering awkward grammar in other books I’ve read by this author.

Second book I’ve read this week where someone has to have their dog put to sleep. My poor shredded heart can’t take it...🥺😭

DNF at 51%.

Thought it was pretty cool and intruiging, but then I had to go to sleep, and after having paused, I'm not sure I see myself picking it up again.
