Rather than tremble at the danger of the Trump presidency, we should have always feared the pernicious prevalence of the US political system

The book is heavily emphasizing on the cultural impact of narcotrafficking in mexican fiction literature which I do see the significance of due to how it affects moral and nationality. On the contrary it feels like a very drawn out point that I do not care much for.

I don’t dislike this, but the start wasn’t what I expected. Heavy on debunking the mythology of the cartel as it’s seen in writing/film/etc. rather than nitty-gritty material and political analysis. However, it seems to be turning to that which I’m enjoying. I have a feeling Fort Bragg Cartel will be a great follow up to this.
