Enjoyed the book. However, the eight year jump didn't flow well for me. What happened to cause Caleb to stop talking to his wife and start listening to his mother? The angst for the storyline was forced into the book. And what profession did Caleb have after baseball? And when did Nicole become an author? A good editor would help. 3+ stars.

So far the book has been pretty sweet. Never read anything like it.

Third spelling mistake I’ve seen thus far and up to this point in the book you can definitely tell the author isn’t autistic herself. Usage of functioning labels, behaviors that don’t seem inline with actual autistic behavior, heavy infantilization of Caleb. I had high hopes for this one but those hopes are fading

I really don’t like Caleb’s apparent lack of understanding of consent at this party.
