This is a nice, little hidden gem of a story. I'm really enjoying this!
Not hard sci-fi, and some misogyny happening; but nothing to ruffle my feathers too much.

Ok, he can do a southern accent, but when he does it everyone else in the scene ends up getting the same accent, too.
I can't tell when there is a scene break because of his narration. It's very frustrating.

It's in interesting enough story, but I don't care for the narrator. He speaks in all exclamations, and his voices are all the same. He's just reading, not really narrating. This makes it difficult to understand which character is front and center at any given time.
It's not so bad that I can't stand it, but it's not as enjoyable as it could be, either.

The narrator speaks in exclamations. It's exhausting.
