This guy Thomas H. Cook...probably one of the most chameleonic writers out there. First encounter was a terrific David Mamet-esque take (with a Southern Gothic crunch), now this one's taking cues from G. García Márquez with a dash of Ron Rash. I got Jaidee to thank for this one (or chide if it sucks). So far, kinda captivating.
