OK, fun comments aside, this Sage/Lavender lovelust from the first sight (literally, they are frigging all over each other, flowers, kisses, poetry, sex ...and cheese) is getting to me. But I think I will continue for just a little more to find out who put a hit on Sage (tho I think I already know).

One of the MCs is an assassin named Lavender (ho boy) with an effeminate, squeaky sidekick (shouldn't he be named Lavender? Us), and the other MC is pretty much a Nobel Peace prize nominee who knits scarves for the elderly and gives CPR to abandoned kitties?

And once again Ms. Sterling has pulled me in and I am loving these characters and the mysterious dynamic of this assassin for hire...
