Incredibly ugly beautiful things -- the writing so sharp and so straight-forward too, might be my favorite since Frisk

"And now that I’m fine, loneliness is far too heavy and painful a state to relive. Still, I’m pretty sure it’s the truth. I’m completely alone. Not to raise my solitude over anyone else’s. It’s just scary sometimes. That’s all I can say about that. Sorry it’s vague."

Is is the most romantic DC book yet?
'(...) I have this sensation of being inside something specifically generated by Luke. It's all about warmth, but it doesn't have the huge, impersonal blandness of sunlight, or the detailing and slight insanity of a flickering fireplace, or the clinical heat of a heater, or the wild rush you get plunging into a hot tub. It's a weaker heat, more poetic, and it practically itches'.
