Status Updates From Keen (Banshee Song #1)

Don’t mind me, just casually panicking

Who the heck is the Unseelie prince?? Is it actually Eric and he’s been lying to us?? Is it supremely obvious Wyatt?? Is it actually a girl?? I DONT KNOW

I have realized I don’t really care for paranormal tropes but I am enjoying this still. I like the twists and the deepening of the plot. Also my current guess on who the Unseelie prince is would be Eric but idk. Might be a girl… Catherine? Jessica? I DONT KNOW XD

The pacing feels too fast to me, like too much has happened already and where is it going to go now, but that’s probably just me liking slower pacing. XD still. A lot of people dying in just 33% :P (of course, the book IS about a banshee…)

I’m not one for urban fantasy but I’m enjoying this so far! Laura is a great writer, and banshees are interesting. Also I love Aubree. Her style is amazing.

Fun fact: The Irish pronunciation of Caoine is actually closer to the way we say "keen", which means "to wail". But I stuck with the American pronunciation of "cane" to make it easier for readers!

Also, Aubree wears Doc Marten's in honor of my oldest daughter, who loves them! And I adore the OG Star Wars trilogy which prompted Aubree to sketch Leia and Vader in her notebook.
