Fun fact: The Irish pronunciation of Caoine is actually closer to the way we say "keen", which means "to wail". But I stuck with the American pronunciation of "cane" to make it easier for readers!

Also, Aubree wears Doc Marten's in honor of my oldest daughter, who loves them! And I adore the OG Star Wars trilogy which prompted Aubree to sketch Leia and Vader in her notebook.
