So far, an excellent compilation and reference for a variety of spirits and creatures in Northwestern European folklore (especially Celtic). However, the author’s bias towards Irish lore and literature is apparent, as there are moments where the less-Irish entries exhibit signs of Daimler’s lesser familiarity with them. Still, Daimler shows their dedication and research with this book.
