There is a bit of a conspiracy theory from the author that there is some inherent white supremacy happening in the American Bhakti Yoga tradition. Nevertheless, her statistics of the amount of white people that attend Western Yoga festivals is very fascinating indeed. I listened to her podcast, and she uses pseudonyms for the people mentioned. Its fascinating that some people's brands were at stake from this book.
