I’m not exactly sure if the conflict besides love and two immortals hating each other, but the tension and multiple povs definitely gives it points. Cassiel is like Rhys but also so different. The main is unlike other main characters, she was slow and scared in the beginning but midway she started getting feisty. In the beginning it was so painful.
