This book is printed with a font that is supposed to be easier for dyslexics to read, that’s pretty neat!

Only just now realized that this is the second book in a series. …but I think I’ll continue anyway, since I don’t have the first. And I think I’m caught up enough - the main character is a half mermaid girl with purple hair and she knows a ship captain who is a tiger and she lives on an island not on the map 👍
