FINISHED: Miss Pageant's Christmas Proposal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finally, this is exactly what I wanted from this anthology. It was told through dual POVs which complemented one another. There was romance, but the author manages to keep a sense of tension throughout. The characters were in love but unwilling to admit it. I would definitely read more from this author.

Quite enjoyable. I liked that it felt like a fully formed story. I enjoyed the beginning, for its potential, more than the execution. I wish there had been more tension between the protagonists. There was the opportunity, and some attempts, but there wasn't enough conviction. However, it was a nice little story.

I loved how you could feel the spark between the protagonist and the love interests. I wish the perspective had been between the two, but the author did a good job of making the love interest feel three-dimension without this. Very almost deserved 5 stars!

Lovely dual perspectives, that really delve into the individual characters. I loved how the author would give us angst, then something a bit softer or steamier, and then return to the angst. I would like all of the angst, please! Maybe my favourite so far!

Short, maybe too short, and sweet. I would have liked more private moments between Daphne and Marcus, and more ridiculous situation. However, the author did a good job of keeping the romantic tension going.

Christmas wasn't mentioned till the ninth chapter so that it felt shoehorned in at the last minute. As aChristmas story it was dissapointing, but as a regency romance it was okay. I liked the drama, but could have done with more relationship drama.

A decent story with an effort made to give it some depth. I wish the tension had been pushed a little more so that the resolution hadn’t been so soon.

The story had potential but lacked anything by resembling plot. Very flat and disappointing.

FINISHED: Maid Under the Mistletoe by Annabelle Anders ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very enjoyable. Great characters. Lovely and angsty. However, the author may have called Eliza, the protagonist, the wrong name (Olivia) at one point. (If not, then I have no idea who Olivia is, and what she was doing in a private conversation). Overall a nice little story to start off the anthology.
