The author is using very descriptive writing techniques to potray Motrag running and masking his sent from the Hound. As well as reminsing of a better time for Motrag.

So far the book is very informative of whats going on. With his groups but also the other groups.

Wolfe finally made it 25,000 feet!

Explaining Wolfe's journey as he hikes the mountain. He slips and almost falls down the hill but was able to jam his ice pike into the ice to catch his fall. Suspensful moment where he considered what to do next.

The book creates great insite on how the hikers were feeling throughout.

It's interesting to see the thought process these explorers thought while hiking up Mount Everest.
