The quality of writing and pacing means that you suspend disbelief that NIck who had no investigative skills and wasn't street wise, could find out more information than the police and MI5 in the shortest space of time.

With the set up of husband and wife loving each other immensely, it obvious that this bond will be tested to the max. Early doors and we've got a missing presumed dead brother turn up, a wife with secrets and a husband who can't lie to save his life.
