Their "table" at the ball? They're not attending the prom, for goodness sake! Also, there's definitely something to this "Patrick is a buffoon" thing. Confronting the blackmailers with a 1-shot pistol and expecting them to think it's a serious threat? Not smart.

Really? They're drinking in the "bar at the Grand Hotel"? Author is making the exact same mistakes as in her lasy book. She really needs to do some research into the time period! What does she have against gentlemen's clubs, anyway?

The author has also referred to Lord Ramshay as a "buffoon" multiple times now. "Buffoon" and "wicked" don't seem like they go together to me.

"Wicked" baron? He doesn't seem that bad to me. Also, that's twice now that the author has described him as "lowly" in comparison to a "lofty" viscount. Does she not understand how British titles are ranked?
