The story keeps pausing to go “wow that wasnt cool” at everything it forces into the story .

I can tell this was written by a man in his 40s

It’s fine so far the characters seem paper thin and I don’t love the emotions swinging so dramatically.

I appreciate that chapter 1 gets straight to the point of the book though.

Feels significantly longer than it's 103 pages in the worst possible way
