Status Updates From The Chocolate Works

Henry is kind of a dick.

I love love love neurotic and anxious MCs.

It did not go unnoticed that the words ‘hope’ and ‘home’ were separated by a single letter, as was the case with ‘hopeless’ and homeless’.

Levi had told me he had grown up homeless.

“As soon as I opened the store, he [Levi] asked me for a bunch of strange ingredients,” commented Ricky. “Are you sure he’s making chocolate? Some of the things he asked for didn’t seem very chocolatey.”

He looked at me and added, “He put it on your tab, by the way.”

“I don’t have a tab at your store.”

“You do now.”

Hmm I don't know about this one, I hope it gets better..

*oohm* ... do I really need to know what the boss's office looks like (even if he fires our hero for a ridiculous reason) in a 2 page detail? And so it goes on. In general there are funny moments, but somehow the author manages to write them very un-funny. Also a talent to have, I guess.
Needless to say - I'll leave super boring Harry (or is it Henry?) right here, when he comes off the buss to meet weirdo Levi.
