“There was a legacy I have always wanted to pick up again when I thought myself strong enough. And it seemed as though the time had come. Don’t read too deeply into it: I’m not a champion of humanity or anything of that kind. I’m cleaning up a section of the world in accordance with the laws of my kind.”

^^ he’s not doing it bc of Pet, he’s doing it because he already wanted to.

This is sad.

Every time Zero is so genuinely bewildered by Pet’s annoyance/anger it reminds me so much of Gansey just meaning well and just simply not understanding when he offends Blue or Adam lol

I HAD A FEELING…! This is fascinating

If Morgana isn’t some kind of dead she’s some kind of psychopomp idek but this is so interesting

Let it be known this does not surprise me at all. But…they keep the house running 👀 we don’t know why Pet’s house was still running 👀

Who the heck are these people and why are they acting like she’s a prophesied messiah lol

That was crazy.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK

“The amount of power needed to keep a dead human interacting with the world is said to be equal to the life forces of two or more persons.”

👀

From what Morgana said at the very beginning I’ve been assuming this is all going to go back to the hot Italian at the cafe and may I just say if it DOESN’T I won’t even be mad I’ll just applaud the author for an excellent red herring

Haha 42. I refuse to read that book.

Huh. Pet’s parents are reminding me a bit of Morgana’s parents 👀

TIE FROG

Palomena is cool and I like her.

k I’m guessing coffee shop hacker “man” (ha) might come in in this book since y’know, it kinda revolves around computers

see, she still cares about the vampire even though he’s a jerk! we love her

Sigh. I still like JinYeoung a good bit more than I USED to, but yanno… he’s flamin confusing 😭 WHAT IS R E A L I must KNOW. I mean I s’pose no one’s NOT confusing here… except for Daniel who is wonderful.

I want to finish so badly but I can barely keep my eyes open. 😴

Stop it Morgana!! Zero better not flamin' like Pet like that!

But even though I shrugged, I felt like I could have hugged him.
Because sometimes change is just your fae, former owner asking simply, “Where?” when you tell him that there’s something dodgy that needs looking into.
