and then basically experiment and breed them for generations

its the fact that i know there wont be a satisfactory conclusion-where the humans are free free and the aliens realize how stupid and awful theyve been as a whole for not realizing theyre clearly sentient

forcing myself to take a pause from this series

it was somehow sweeter and less depressing than book one
but still depressing nonetheless

I did not like that epilogue mention of SA-incest of the very obvious main character of the 3rd book: JoAynn. But I want to finish this series so I'll steel myself so I can read it.

Das Buch hat mich echt berührt. Ich habe so mitgelitten teilweise. Jetzt bin ich kurz vorm Ende und es war kaum auszuhalten. Klar ist es weiterhin hauptsächlich ein Dark-Erotik Buch aber wenn man hier sich auf das Thema einlässt und weiter sich da reindenkt ist es schon ganz schön heftig. Aber zumindest bin ich gerade wieder etwas erleichtert und bin froh, dass es sich in eine Richtung entwickelt, die mir gefällt.

Deutlich bedrückender als der erste Teil.
