Status Updates From True (Tales of the Circle #1)

This is about to be a rush ending (only 23 pages left) which irritates the hell out of me but as long as they get their HEA I suppose I can live with that but I’m still irritated. This book needed to be at minimum another 20 or 30 pages.

Yeah, I’ve decided I love them. This book isn’t what I was expecting, it’s better. Not that I expected it to be bad but I usually go in with a casual acceptance that a book will be good, but I’m pleasantly surprised that I like it more than just “good”. Cried twice so far- just snuck up on me. 😮‍💨

"—You live here. I live in DC. My work is there. Yours is here. How would we make this work? If we fall in love, how could this possibly work?"

Woah! Slow your roll there, buddy. You’ve just had sex with this guy once and this is where your head is at? You’ve know him for a week! This book is weird.

”From behind,” he said. “Like a horse.”

Awkward…and kind of eww.

”We’re drunk…and I am a pristine young lady.”

Wonderful. Now we have Tyler, the big cowboy, talking like Demarco. 🙄

I am finding Alec’s best friend Demarco to be quite annoying. He calls Alec “sister” and everything is “girl” this and “girl” that. It’s a bit too camp for me.

Still have no idea what Alec looks like.
