These books have a negative maturity that unfortunately you find in kids that through lack proper care or attention become somewhat disaffected already by the age of 12 or 13. So I would say these are really not appropriate for children under the age of 11 or 12 - any younger and you’re short changing your own child a proper childhood. Which makes it hard prying it from my mature 9 year olds eager grasp.

I chose this book because it is very entertain and keeps me engaged during all 30 minutes of reading and has good drawings. Yes it is holding my interest since it has a lot of pictures and funny plot twist and suprises.

Greg finally sheds a tear, realizing that he’s going to miss Rowley.& now–move out chaos! Movers breaking kitchen dishes, hot tub’s crashing into the chimney, Whirley Street kids stealing their furniture, trucks running over their couch, wasps escape the chimney & begin attacking ppl,& the hot tub falls through roof. The ppl who were going to buy Heffley’s house pulled out, so they couldn’t afford to move anymore.

Greg broke the news to Rowley that his family is moving. Rowley's reaction was sad, and Greg's reaction was typical Greg. When Greg's mom hosted an open house, there were a lot of interested customers. EXCEPT for a group of dad's who let their kids run around the house while they went downstairs to watch TV and eat the Heffley's snacks from their kitchen! Rude!
