Status Updates From Ohio

Oh my god the exposition never ends. I mean the author is definitely dialed in on the bleak outlook of like rural n.e. Ohio and political tensions post 9/11 and into like 2008-ish that being said I’m ready for us to get a move on

I’m stopping at 67%. I find the characters unlikeable. They seem stuck in high school mentality. It’s a depressing story line, with too much sadness, violence, drugs, sex and drinking.
