Indoor leash training is essential to establishing yourself as a leader. Day two of implementing and I am seeing a significant change of behavior.

As a very self-disciplined individual, it is important to me to have a well trained dog. I'm enjoying the methods which are shared. When you realize a dog's pack mentality, you realize the importance of establishing yourself as their pack leader. This gains the dogs trust to follow your commands. I am enjoying the firmness not harshness approach.

If I wrote a “how to raise a puppy” book, it would have been this one. Simple but not easy, honest, practical, kind but unsentimental. Transcends the current blather over “named” training styles. The author has one agenda, help you raise a puppy to become the dog you want to live with. I recommend learning this book, not just reading it, before you you bring that ball of fluff home.
