Status Updates From Sonic Select: Book One

Now I've finished Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble! Another Knuckles centric issue, although it also featured the first appearance of Nack the Weasel. We got a bit of a tease for the upcoming Tails miniseries that I'll be reading soon as well!

This time I read the Sonic & Knuckles special. It started with a story about Eggman hijacking Angel Island and using it as a means to destroy Knothole. The next two stories were shorts about Knuckles' Guardian duties on the island. All three were very good and I must say, I can't wait to see more from Knuckles!

I read the first of the three and a half issues in this volume, The Sonic In Your Face Special. Featuring the continuation and conclusion of the storyline started in Sonic #17, the In Your Face Special also showcases a short story playing with mirror reading, and a solo Tails story. All in all, very good! I'll review the rest of this volume as I reach their respective issues in the timeline! 😁
