Book two....

I hate abandoning a book once I've started it, but I honestly don't think I can finish this one. I might read something else around it to see if it helps, but I doubt it will get me through it to the end.

I see what was done with the name there. Not sure if I'm able to properly get into this one, though, but we shall see how it goes.

Kind of want to DNF. Not going to just because it's a really short book.

Not liking this as much as I hoped I would. It's very... I don't know, straightforward? There's little subtlety. I'm not connecting to any characters so far.
