That was an incredible ceremony and I loved every second of it. Oh how I’ve loved the journey of this book.

That was beautiful and perfect.

Damn good investigator and damn good man. Taking Simon down, finding enough to likely be liable in a criminal fraud case. Getting your job back and Simon fired. And finding Allison. Take that thumb drive with you Edward. After everything she’s been through these past many years, she needs the hard evidence.

He’s the only one that could stand toe to toe with you and still be able to walk beside you without claiming to be cuckolded or henpecked. And you’re the only one strong enough to stand up to him and put him in his place when it’s needed. You two fit. That kind of connection doesn’t just fade away. No matter how much we may wish it would.

For my two cents, I’m damn sure it was Simon. No way it wasn’t. Bastard.

I completely understand where you’re coming from, doll. You’ve got to what’s right for you.

And now I think I know exactly what Simon was doing. He’s been trying to drive you out of the company for years, and the insistence he had over knowing your schedule tells me he sent that woman there to set you up. Their dinner was perfect, her vulnerability, his danger noodles. Lol. And then, dessert. And that was hot!

I really like Eleanor Speare. I can see where Edward got his—well, everything.

Simon seems like he could be trouble. I did enjoy the satisfaction of Edward telling his old man that his plan had both failed and succeeded.

I like Jessalyn! And I totally agree. A night of getting royally trashed is needed.

You, sir, know how to make a deal. And you made her laugh! That’s important in a relationship. Fake or otherwise. And if you two can come out friends in too, that’d be even better.

I really do like the growth he shows here and how much he wants to protect her from all the vapid toxicity of the world he grew up in. He really did learn a lot from her, even if it took him a while to realize it.

I think you could, Allison. He seems a good match for you and I think your encounter with him way back when made him actually think about the consequences of his actions for once. You gave him a wake up call.

Trust me, doll, she ain’t thrilled, either. Grandad thinks she’s too inexperienced to handle money from someone she’s never met who doesn’t know her from Adam. Your father and her Grandad (which, if I were her and knew that calling him ‘Granddad’ would irk him, I’d totally do it) would make great buddies.

Granddad’s a peach, ain’t he? Nothing quite like a bit of misogyny to ruin the day.

Edward. So you’re the one who cost Allison everything. That unbridled arrogance of youth and money made you feel invincible , but you never expected that anyone would stand up to you. Did you? And now this mess with your father and the papers. Not lookin’ too good, ol’ chap.
