They trade the ship for a helmet, so the dark lady won't blow up Denver destroying it. Then the gnomes locate it under ice in Antarticia. They try to sabotage the engines, but they have fixed it all up and are trying to steal it from their master and take off. They make it to the escape pod before the gnomes destroy it for taking off and possibly being noticed.

There are more curse words than I would like.

Took me awhile to get into this book. Glad I stocked to it.

Got a bit thrown by the fact that this is dwarves, trolls, elves etc. IN SPACE because nothing in the blurb gives that impression... Giving it a good chance though, because once the characters get to Earth it might settle into more of what I was expecting.

Seems like a fun read!
