Giving it a second chance. I had to listen to the audio drama to get into the story and it was helpful. From chapter 10 onwards things finally get interesting. This time I think I'll be able to finish it, although I am still lost and I have no idea where this is going (and not in the good way).

Zhang Jue is love. I spend most of what I read so far torn between wanting to shake Chen Boqiao until he aware but also knowing that he is a aware and wanting to smack him for being so ughsjjjjj. Anyway I love them both and their dynamic is pure gold.

Zhang Jue is such a precious baby. And Chen Boqiao not knowing he’s already falling is also just as intense. I can’t get enough of these two. I don’t want this to end.

I believe I’m going to not bank any sleep tonight . Some about the two leads are drawing me in.

On ch 3.. just want to update some progress to make sure my reading is fine and i dont intend to drop lol. I want to keep banging, why i feel like the potential of “MC love him first, ( got rejected and MC will just ignore him then)but ML love harder” trope? Cuz GOD I LOVE THAT TROPE.
