“Tell me what you want," Thorncress murmured, open-mouthed against his throat.
"Anything," Loxley gasped. "Anything you can give me."
"You won't regret it, come morning?"
"No. Not if it's with you.”

“If he could, he would erase every cruel word and unkind look Thorncress had collected over the years and replace them with his own whispered affirmations, even if Thorncress didn't believe them.”
