Status Updates From Of Witches...

2 more stories down and i'm still :/ idk his writing is too simple, i think. there's barely any description, just 99% tell, and when there is it's very standard, doesn't bring you into the emotion of the scene at all. simple, straight forward writing can work, but it still takes effort. it doesn't feel like any effort was put into these stories to make them feel creepy, make the reader feel unnerved . . very bland

2 stories in and so far i'm a little . . . underwhelmed? i guess. not bad, per se, just no *spark*. but!! i'll be giving the entire collection a try before i make any final judgements, so fingers crossed i connect with some of the other stories~
