“At least pick someone cooler.” Silas rolls his eyes.
“Someone cooler than Bond?” I raise my brow, looking at him like he’s crazy. “Like who?”
“John Wick,” Silas throws out, and I scoff.
“He’s an assassin, not a spy.”
“Exactly,” Silas and Kai respond at the same time.

“Whoever said prom wasn’t eventful has clearly never done it Minnesota style,” Kai attempts to joke, but his voice falls flat. We’re all in shock.
