I must say I am deeply disappointed in this author - perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, I didn't enjoy Borges' original 'History of Infamy' and that the author is a great fan of Moorcock (who also returns the favour) is not a recommendation. So far it is a work that is very pleased with itself, if it was a human being I would describe it as insufferable.
